There are various canteens and bistros on campus, of which the Cafeteria insgrüne (for small snacks) is located directly on the ground floor of the Philosophicum and the vegetarian Bambus Mensa in the Georg-Forster building right next to the Philosophicum. Please note that a payment app is required in all canteens. We strongly recommend that you install the SEPA direct debit in advance, as it can take a few hours to process (see FAQ How do I pay at the cafeterias from the Studierendenwerk Mainz? ).
